About the Project
Clevertronics is a company based in the UK that specialises in emergency lighting systems. Their marketing consultant had worked with me previously, and so he reached out to see if I could support their team with some content they had planned.
The Brief
The main goals for developing content were to improve the company’s digital presence in the UK and generate more traffic and enquiries through targeted SEO content. They wanted their content to help build trust, brand authority, and stronger relationships with their audience.
During the initial content strategy process, I sensed that introducing new content and channels might overwhelm the team at first. So, I came up with a sample content plan to help them understand what content they might produce, and how they could repurpose it across their channels.
I also conducted some initial keyword research to suggest a few topic ideas, based on relevant topics with achievable keywords. At the time, it wasn’t a hugely competitive space, so there were a lot of good opportunities.
The Work
We scheduled a series of Zoom calls with Clevertronics’ internal experts to talk about the products, services, and any relevant compliance issues in-depth. I also referenced their existing recorded webinars and presentations, which included some helpful diagrams. This allowed me to cover the topics with authority and accuracy.
Over a four month period, I worked with the team to develop a number of blog posts to highlight their products, features, and benefits. With each post, I also wrote an accompanying email and social media content so that they could share the content across their channels.
