About the Project
Peach’s is a Squarespace plugin that helps store owners get more sales through referral and affiliate software. The developer reached out to me for website copywriting support to help describe their service for non-technical audiences and emphasise its uniqueness. This included developing a more unique brand voice to differentiate it from the competition.
Phase 1
First, I developed some Brand Voice Guidelines to make sure the developer and I were on the same page when it came to tone of voice and key messages. I also did a mini keyword strategy to confirm the best keyword for the home page. Then I prioritised rewriting the home page, incorporating the target keyword and the newly defined brand voice, while tweaking the layout a little to support conversion.
Phase 2
A year or two later, the client came back to me for further updates to the copy, helping to expand on the original site. I made some changes to the home page, and also wrote services pages for Referral Programs and Affiliate Programs, along with an About page.
