Hello darlings/gorgeous/beautiful,
I had the most terrible childhood. My parents hated me and I basically was the ugliest kid in school. I failed at everything. I was the poorest of the poor. This continued right through to adulthood, where I failed truly epically at anything that actually matters – relationships, money, jobs, life.
And then suddenly everything changed!
I went from owing $50,000 in loans and credit card debt to turning over $50 million dollars… in just ONE YEAR.
Now, I spend all of my days at the beach with my apple devices. I drink lots of alcoholic beverages at twilight, and coffees/green juices every morning. My hair is perfect and my skin glows, and everybody wants to be me, and so do you.
You too can have this amazing life that I live! There is enough of this amazing abundance to go round for everyone.
All you have to do is buy this awesome course. I’ve already changed the lives of 302,994 gullible people just like you!

Did that make you throw up in your mouth a little bit? Cause I swear every time I see this recycled on another Facebook ad or landing page, it makes me feel sick. How many people still fall for this kind of stuff?
I’m sick of seeing the same old thing, over and over again. Why can’t people be original? Authentic? The real deal?
Please, please don’t be like them. Unless that really is your actual story and life and you’ve not just recycled it from someone else. In which case, go for it!
People want to read content that is YOU. Would the real you please step forward? They want to buy from people they know and can actually relate to.
Here’s what people really want:
- Honesty
- Authenticity
- Being fun, not totally rigid/serious
- Transparency
- Relatability
- Respect for their intellect
- Quality
- Uniqueness
- Engaging content
- Consistency
- Responsiveness
- Accountability
Be Respectful
A lot of this comes down to respect. Respect your audience’s intelligence – they will smell a rat from a million miles away. And respect their eyeballs. Don’t put rubbish in their newsfeeds – they get enough of that from their extended family ;-).
Be Relevant
While you’re at it, make sure the content you’re putting out is relevant to them, but also relevant to the platform. Don’t just blast out the same message everywhere… that’s boring and lazy. It shows people that you’re not actually showing up for a conversation on their preferred platform.
Be Real
Share your wins, but also your failures. It’s okay to air a little dirty laundry on occasions – it shows people that you’re a real human being, just like them, and encourages your audience to open up about your problems, which in turn helps you to solve them.
So please, please, stop with the rags to riches stories. Unless of course, it’s for real, in which case… AWESOME!
